Title — Bhoot, Bhavish, Bartaman
Author — Mehool Parekh

Blurb:

The main protagonist, Rupali is found murdered in her apartment. The case is given to Major Bartaman Bhowmick Robin Chowdhary. Why was Rupali murdered? Who murdered her? Read the book to know more.

So before we start I wanna say one thing, two major likable characters in the book are Bengalis, so I loved them.
The present story is based on Rupali’s Murder Mystery where she is found soaked in blood in her apartment.
Police and detectives work together to locate the murderer. The detective main character is Robin and Betty.
First confusion of the story: — Robin is the female name and Betty is the male.
The plot is mysterious and the author has shown us two timelines one where we get to see the crime scene and the other when the women were alive which is unfolding when the criminal investigation is going on. This makes the plot all the more mysterious but the mystery is never revealed until the end of the book.
The narration is smooth and descriptive enough to make sense of every scene that is unfolding. That being said, I think there were too many characters and it was hard to keep track of all of them.
The language is simple and lucid. Also, the plus point is that the author has also included the native language for some characters which makes the character more realistic and interesting.
